The 13th Man was founded to answer a deeper call- to uplift young men who have the potential, the heart and the drive, but who may have not received life-changing opportunities.

In 2015, entrepreneur and current coach, E. Davon Kelly reflected on his own journey through sports and leadership.  He realized that while the spotlight often shines on the few who make the team, many young men are still waiting for someone to see what they are capable of.

The 13th Man isn’t about fixing anyone.  It is about creating access- and walking alongside young men as they define success on their own terms.  Through leadership development, academic excellence, and community engagement, we equip them with tools, structure, and unwavering support.
